About
Training hard and recovering fast are the same job.
I am a massage therapist and movement coach based at West London. I work with people who ask a lot of their bodies, and with people whose bodies have been quietly holding something for years.
Why both hands and programming
Most people are sold one half of this. A therapist who works on you but has no idea what your training week looks like, or a coach who programmes for you but has never felt what is actually restricted.
Doing both means the treatment and the training stop contradicting each other. If your hips will not open, I can feel why on the table and then change what we do on the floor.
What I believe about touch
Touch has been sexualised, labelled and misunderstood, and a lot of people arrive slightly braced because of it. At its core touch is meant to heal, and it carries real power. Skin to skin contact offers comfort and safety. It reminds a nervous system that it is not alone.
In practice that means sessions here are clinical and unhurried. You stay covered, you are told what is happening before it happens, and you can stop or redirect anything at any point.
Making room for men to recover
More men have been coming to my classes and I am glad about it. Men are under a lot of pressure when it comes to strength. They have always been told to be strong, capable and productive, and that leaves no room for healing or recovery.
Stretching, recovering and calming the nervous system are just as important for men, even if putting yourself in a place of vulnerability feels uncomfortable at first. Everyone is welcome here and nobody is watching you.
Stillness
We prioritise productivity, fast fixes and dopamine, and it is easy to lose any sense of calm. It is always easier to reach for a phone than to sit in silence. But stillness is worth your time, and an hour on the table is one of the few places most people still allow themselves to have it.
Qualifications and insurance
- ITEC Sports Massage
- Animal Flow Instructor
- Personal Trainer, Level 2 & 3
- Insured with UK Coaching
Worth saying plainly, because it is the thing people quietly wonder about before they let someone into their home: the qualifications are real, the insurance is current, and you are welcome to ask to see either before you book.
Where you will find me
Classes and workshops run at in West London. I train at and coach clients there, outdoors on the commons, and in people's homes across South London. In the warmer months I run movement and stretch sessions abroad on retreats, which is where a lot of what you see on Instagram is filmed.
Practical
Working with me
Sessions run 45, 60 or 90 minutes. I bring the table, towels and oils to you, or you come to the studio. Payment on the day, and rebooking is a message rather than a system.
If what you need is not something I do, I will say so and point you towards someone who does it properly. That is worth more to me than one booking.
